Heard a news from social media:
“A 73-year-old Japanese man worked at Toyota for 40 years. After retiring, he came to Great Wall Motors in China to provide technical guidance. Now he has left the company and is still looking for a job!”
Comments are very diverse. Some say that the Japanese are poor and have to work at such an old age; others say that China’s electric vehicle industry is far ahead and even the Japanese can’t make a living in their own country; still others say that if they get sick, it will be considered a work injury, which is not worth it.
I really hope that Chinese people can calm down, let go of so many labels, reduce hostility, and truly focus on their careers, but that seems unrealistic in the short term.
As an information security professional, I have to say this is a genuine leak of personal information, and the HR guy and the reporter were extremely unprofessional.
